WHAT: More than 600 motorcycle enthusiasts will join forces with Seminole Casino – Coconut Creek and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, V.I.P and celebrity guests and others to raise money for the Travis Long Firefighter Memorial Fund. Riders will meet at Seminole Casino – Coconut Creek for check-in and a breakfast before the ride. Police and fire escorts will guide the public caravan from Seminole Casino – Coconut Creek along US-441 to Seminole Paradise at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino where riders will enjoy a kick-off party featuring a lunch, live entertainment, special autograph session, live auction, a custom bike show and more.
The Travis Long Firefighter Memorial Fund was established in memory of its namesake, a Plantation firefighter who died in a tragic motorcycle event at the age of 24. The scholarship fund assists young adults who are interested in attending the Fire Academy and EMT Training School.
